Data Aquisition and Telemetry data from the purple-people eater
That last picture is data from a 8 minute run going down San Felipe Wash in Ocotillo Wells....
(note the 26,000 feet (5 miles) distance on the x axis)
That was a "take it easy" run... around 45-85MPH.
values plotted on the graph are for(top to bottom):
oil temp(127 degrees F)(light pink), Water temp(Up to 199degrees F in pink ),
oil preassure (80PSI in light purple),
Exaust Gas Temp(675 degrees celcius=1247 deg F) (magenta trace),
Boost:0.78 bar = 11.4psi (not plotted)
RPM: 5800 max (in light blue trace..)
This is a recent plot of a run from main street to shell reef. 7.5 mins.
My best run was 4.5 mins...

of course, I'd need the $20k Fortin tranny and $1500 axles/934 cv's and some Goodyear 28" slicks.
A NHRA license along with the balls to do something that crazy.
I've done 0-100 runs in this car in which I catch so many inline-g's that tunnle-vision (vision blackout) sets in and at the
shift points, my "vision" hops sideways for a second.
Recent engine fixups
- big intake leak fixed at throttle-body/Intercooler/Silicone hose
I would still get full boost, but only late in RPM's and not "zero turbo lag"
- throttle peddle now set to move butterfly 100%, not 66% as before
- back on "1/4 hole off" with the big can on the turbo waste-gate (full 15PSI boost)
- I had turned it down to around 10PSI since I did not need 450HP in the hard-pack,
and I also had 6 month old 115 octane gas which I did not trust. now I need that power. ;)
